OK, rule number 1, we do not do diets or fads!  We just promote good old fashioned healthy, balanced eating.
It’s a simple rule of physics, if you take in more energy than you spend, you will put on weight.  Pleasingly this does not mean you have to starve yourself in order to shed pounds.
We advocate “clean” eating with an 80:20 approach.
What does this actually mean?  There are lots of scientific explanations (try Google) but seemingly not one specific definition.  In a nutshell clean eating is about eating a natural and varied diet incorporating fresh produce and removing processed food and drinks.  The 80:20 part is about moderation.  If I told you that you had to give up crisps, chocolate, alcohol, or whatever your guilty pleasure might be, then i am simply setting you up to fail.  If I said that should you choose to eat clean for 80% of the time you can justifiably allow yourself a 20% indulgence AND still see results you’d be a much happier bunny right?
It’s all about you making the right choices for you, food is not a reward, and should not be treated as such, it is simply a means to fuel our body, which also happens to be quite enjoyable.
